Cropping is something I just don't do that often. When I was looking at this image I had to rethink a few things, is it a more powerful image cropped ? tell me what you think which image do you think is stronger out of the three ?
I'd go with the 2nd one but include a very little bit of sky above. Otherwise you can't tell that he's outdoors. the first one is way too tight on the top, the last one the person is too small/distant.
